GALILEO WAY Systemic fungicide for control of sheath blight in Rice

Fungicide with unique combination of very potent and complementary fungicide chemistries (Strobilurins and Triazoles) for effective disease control.

Combination of two modes of action and both preventive and curative action leads to excellent protection against difficult to control diseases and make it an ideal resistance management and IDM tool.
It has unique redistribution properties viz Systemic and Translaminar movement, diffusion in the wax layer, redistribution by air, Axial redistribution.

These properties deliver complete and better coverage.

Corn (All Types) (Zea mays ssp. mays)

Mustard (Brassica spp.)

Rice (Oryza sativa)

Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum)

Galileo Way controls sheath blight, false smut and dirty panicle in Rice and yellow rust in wheat.

Recommendation:
1000 ml per hectare using 500 litres of water

Mode of Action
- Picoxystrobin a strobilurin fungicide inhibits mitochondrial respiration. Bind at the Qo centre on cytochrome b and block electron transfer between cytochrome b and cytochrome c1. This disrupts the energy cycle wihin the fungus by halting production of ATP.
- Propiconazole a triazole fungicide, inhibits the biosysnthesis of sterols. Blocks the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital phase in the cell metabolism of the parasitic fungi. It triggers a defieciency in lipids essential to he development of cell membranes and blocks mycelium growth.
